The Kirtle is a lined, front-opening bodice with an attached, unlined, gathered skirt. The skirt is open down the front. There are two styles of kirtles, the Irish and the Italian. The Kirtle is most often worn over a full-length chemise, which is sold separately.

Kirtles have three color options:

One solid color, cotton blend. Irish Kirtle shown below in blue.

One color cotton blend for the bodice, a different color for the skirt.
Irish Kirtle shown below in wine and black.

A tapestry brocade bodice with a solid color skirt. Italian Kirtle shown in tapestry and rust below.

All solid color fabric is a cotton blend, in any color you choose.

Every item is made to your specifications, so you will need to supply measurements as well as your choice of fabric color and eyelet color (silver, gold, or black) or clasp color (silver/gold) on the order form.
