The Straight-Cut Corset - Shown above, this corset has white steel bones sewn into casings made from two layers of coutil (heavy 100% cotton with a twill weave). This corset is made to your measurements and laces up the back. White or Natural.

The Tabbed Corset - Shown above, this corset has tabs which extend several inches below the waist. The boning runs into the tabs to provide extra support for the skirts. Since each layer of the corset is seamless there is no added bulk at the waist. 100% cotton coutil. White or Natural.

Colonial and Revolutionary - Late 18th Century

The 18th Century Corset - Shown at left, this corset has tabs on the side and back which extend several inches below the waist. The boning runs into the tabs to provide extra support for the skirts. There is horizontal boning running across the upper center front. The corset laces up the back and there are detachable straps which tie on through lacing holes. 100% cotton coutil. White or natural. Civil War - Mid 19th Century

The Civil War Corset - Shown in brocade below, this corset has white steel bones sewn into casings made from two layers of coutil (heavy 100% cotton with a twill weave). This mid-19th century style is designed to pull in the waist and belly and push up the bust. There is a steel busk in the front of the corset, and the top and bottom edges are bound with satin ribbon for added comfort. This corset is made to your measurements and laces up the back. The Victorian Corset - Shown below, this corset has white steel bones sewn into casings made from two layers of coutil (heavy 100% cotton with a twill weave). This late 19th century style is designed to pull in the waist and belly and push up the bust. There is a steel busk in the front of the corset, and the top and bottom edges are bound with satin ribbon for added comfort. This corset is made to your measurements and laces up the back. Skirt Supports

16th and 17th Centuries

The Bum Roll - An Elizabethan lady wore a bum roll underneath her hoop skirt, and in the 17th century the bum roll was frequently the only skirt support used. The bum roll is a ring of cotton stuffed with polyfill and tied in the center front. It should be worn just below the waist. White or Natural. The Bum Roll - $29.00

The Bustle - Made of cotton muslin and stuffed with polyfill, the design of this soft bustle is based on an unboned "Alaska Down" bustle pictured in the 1876 Bloomingdales catalog. The picture at left shows the bustle alone and at right under a skirt. Made in any solid color you desire.The Bustle - $29.00

Bloomers - Shown at left, these over-the-knee unmentionables are an essential  foundation garment for a wide range of time periods. Made in cotton with an elastic waist, the cuffs have wide cotton lace with a ribbon drawstring. The color of the ribbon varies. Available in white and natural.
